Richard Bucher, IL "The tapestry arrived, and I love
it. Look forward to buying more stuff. My friends are
also interested. Please mail me some cards or brochures for
them to the address below".
Bruce Nickum, PA "Thank you for your customer service.
The Zwickers, Canada "We are thrilled with the piece and thank-you for your
generosity. We will frame it behind glass as you suggested. Thank-you again.
Frances Guzman, NJ "Received the lithograph and you were right it is
beautiful. On Thursday I took it to be custom framed. I was surprised because the framer
pointed out several colors within the picture that I did not notice until we started
looking at mats to compliment it.
Suzanne Gonzalez, NY "I have been meaning to
write to you to let you know how absolutely delighted I was when I
received the mask. It arrived in perfect condition, and it
goes well with my collection. Please keep me informed of any
new masks that you are featuring. I am definitely interested
in purchasing more Vejigante mask from your gallery. Once
again Thank You!"
Edwin Garcia, Austin, TX "Hi
Loida and congratulations on the business. It looks great! What I
like the most is the personal touch, your comments and descriptions
make the site more than just an art outlet. It talks to the
appreciation of the art and imparts the feelings evoke by the art to
those interested in getting it."
Raquel Fragoso, Cleveland,
OH "The lithograph we got is beautiful, it arrived fast,
nicely packaged and is already hanging on my living room.
Thanks and will visit your e-store again!"
Kathy Maljaei, Evanston,
IL "I've really enjoyed your site and have seen it get better
and better every time I check in. I ordered a Huichol bracelet which
I love. Whenever I wear it I get complements. I've seen similar
bracelets in the stores but they do not seem to be made as well.
Thanks and keep up the good work!"
Dana Zeid, Chicago, IL "The
embroidered scarf is beautiful, so unique and well-made with the
tiny clay beads. I am also glad that you are helping the artisans
through your business. Best of success!"
Anna Belaev, Chicago, IL "My
Inca calendar tapestry from Ecuador is just gorgeous. I
have it on my living room and everyone likes it. I am glad
that you are helping artisans like Jose Cotecachi make a
living for themselves. I now have my own ElCoqui budget, so
that I can get additional unique works of art"
Kenny Vaglio, New York,
NY "Great item (Carved
Cow Horn Chess Set) and great packaging. Thanks!"

Puerto Rican
Sangria
OK. We are not Paul
Newman, but the success of our sangria is overwhelming. No
party is complete without it. All our neighbors and friends
want the recipe, so one suggested just to 'put it on the web'.
Well, here it is! Take it in moderation, it is
addictive!
Ingredients:
-
1/2 gallon of red wine
(Burgundy works)
-
3/4 cup of dark rum from
Puerto Rico
-
1 cup of orange
juice
-
1/2 cup of sugar
-
slices of oranges or apples
for decoration
Mix well the above
ingredients, we usually just taste to determine final amounts.
Let it sit for about one hour in the refrigerator. Right
before serving, add lots of ice and serve immediately.
