What are your shipping options?      Top

Our items are works of art; therefore to assure delivery we are mainly shipping through UPPS, UPS or Federal Express, depending on the location.   Many items will ship directly from the artisan so that each piece of art is assured the best possible care with minimal handling.  Currently, our standard option for shipment is 10-20 days from the confirmed order.  Items not in inventory may require the artisan to custom-make a piece, in which cases items will be shipped 20-31 days from the confirmed order.  All orders will be confirmed via e-mail within 24 hours of receipt for availability and shipping dates in addition to the credit card transaction confirmation.

 

If an item is an original and is not in inventory, how can you assure that the piece of art is going to be exactly the same as in the picture?     Top

Our unique value to you as a customer is to offer an original piece of artwork.   Since the artists make each piece by hand, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same.  In general, they will follow the same shape, theme, colors but variations will exist.  Plus, each item comes with a certificate of authenticity!

We'll confirm your options before processing the order.  We'll confirm the availability of each one-of-a-kind piece upon 24-hours of receiving an order.  Please make sure that you read the comments on each item before ordering.

 

What are your shipping charges?      Top

To make shipping fair and simple, we calculate the shipping fee based on the size and weight of the items you are ordering.  They are then categorized in three sizes:  small, medium and large.   We then apply the appropriate shipping and handling estimated costs.  The following chart applies to U.S. shipments only:

What are credit cards to you accept?  Do you take m.o. or checks?     Top

We take money orders and personal checks when ordering on line.  Just print a copy of the order and send it with your check or m.o. to ElCoquiGifts.com, 1840 Oak St. S. 127, Evanston, IL   60201.  We accept VISA, Master Charge, Discover and American Express.

If you are concerned about waiting until we receive your check before the item is reserved for you, please send a fax copy of the order and we'll reserve the piece for 3 days.  Of course, a faster way to get your order in, is by making a purchase on line via a credit card.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?      Top

Yes, we do!  Shipping charges and estimated delivery times will appear on the order confirmation. In some cases, it may take longer than shipments to the U.S.  Please contact us for additional information:  elcoquigifts@attglobal.net.

 

What is availability and how does it affect shipment?     Top

Most items are either already in inventory or will be hand-made upon a confirmed order.  Once the order is placed, a notification will be sent via e-mail to customers confirming availability.  If the items need to be made, an estimated delivery date will be provided with the order confirmation.   

 

Do you combine orders and shipping charges?     Top

Many of our items are made and shipped directly from our different artists. We do not combine shipments unless the item is from the same source.

 

Your shipping charges seem high.  Why?     Top

In order to better care for these unique works of arts, we have a one-time handling policy.  Most items do not ship from a warehouse, but directly from the artisan's studio, regardless of location.  

 

What is your guaranty?     Top

We stand behind the quality of all our products.   We offer 100% Guarantee.  You may return an item in its original condition for credit or full refund as long as the item is returned within 3 days of receipt.  You must include a copy of the shipping invoice and you must speak with our Customer Service Representative over the phone at  our toll free number 1-877-610-4920 with the reason for the return.  This process helps us track the appropriate credit.

 

How do I return an item?     Top

All items should be returned within 3 days of receipt in the same package and manner in which they were shipped in order to get a full refund.  After speaking with our Customer Service Representative at  our new toll-free number 1-877-610-4920, please fill out the Returns Form found on the bottom of your packing slip and mail to:

If the reason for the return is our error, we'll refund the cost of the item and shipping charges.

 

What do I do with a damaged or missing item?     Top

If a piece is damaged or missing something, please contact us by e-mail  (elcoquigifts@attglobal.net) or by phone 1-877-610-4920 as soon as possible so that we may remedy the situation.  Please include as many details as possible in your communication.  We will make every effort to respond within 1 business day.

Yes, on the ordering page, please indicate where you want your item delivered.

 

Do you gift wrap?     Top

Size permitting,  our items will be packaged in a white gift box with tissue paper and then protected with the cardboard box --- an elegant gift environment.  Gift wrapping may be available based on your request in the comments section. Gift wrapping is free!!! 

Additionally,  items from ElCoquiGalleries.com will be shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity and a short story explaining the origin and cultural significance of the piece.  This will provide the owner  with a permanent record of the cultural background of the piece as well as its authenticity.

 

What is your Privacy Policy?      Top

Is your cash register/order taking broken?  It's so slow.

Yes, our back-end its a bit slow.  It does work well, however.  Our supplier, IBM and their partners have a world-class and award winning service for us.  Since we have a great selection of artwork, at this point, they cannot make it faster.  Please be patient, or just call us to place your order by phone.
